A leading internet dating platform is seeking an attorney qualified in France to assist their legal department on a consulting basis. This would be a 40 hours per week role with an initial 6 month term.Title: Commercial Counsel (France) (FLEX)Experience: 5+ YearsLocation: Remote (Paris, France)Hours: 40 Hours / WeekDuration: 6 Months (From 7/7/2025 until 1/9/2026)Pay Rate: $70 - $85 / hrResponsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a marketing contracts with influencers, creative agencies, and new media.Provide legal support on a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS, partnership and other procurement agreements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to support business operations and ensure compliance.Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and operational efficiency.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.More than 5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.Strong knowledge of contract law and proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreementsExperience with emerging digital platforms, including TikTok and comparable social media channels, is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Fluency in both English and French is required.Knowledge of Ironclad or similar Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems would be a plus.
