INTERNATIONAL TRADE MARKETING MANAGER
(position based in Paris 17ème)

Objectives and responsibilities

  • Based in : Paris / France - PARIS REGION
  • Contract : 06/2024 - permanent

Reporting to the VP Distribution Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, you are in charge of the trade marketing of the Brand in the selected markets; more specifically your missions are the following :

Marketing / Digital / Merchandising

- Analyse carefully all toolboxes coming from D&G marketing/digital and merchandising teams.
- Inform all key local marketing contacts of all existing toolboxes.
- Centralize all marketing and merchandising requests linked to new products from local partners and discuss them with D&G marketing and merchandising teams.
- Organize and lead weekly marketing calls with local Benelux and DACH teams to share key information coming from the brand and local feedbacks, to ensure the respect of key priorities and perfect organization between D&G, local teams and retailers.
- Create and present impactful new products personalized presentations for each key GBB main key accounts such as Douglas DACH & NL, IPXL Belux & NL, etc.
- Develop personalized planograms for key clients according to their different stores clusters.
- Attend markets and partners requests, gaining full understanding of all communication/marketing opportunities for the brand.

Trade Plans & Slots Activations

- Develop innovative and impactful go-to-market launch packages negotiating with key direct clients respecting D&G guidelines.
- Elaborate trade marketing plans per country respecting brand image guidelines, objectives, key launches and priorities in close collaboration with local partners and key local GBB contacts.
- Ensure strong brand equity and visibility both instore and online, maximizing the implementation of corporate POSM/merchandising tools.
- Present in detail to D&G for approval the planned trade activities.
- Implement each trade activity on each market :
. propose layouts for all activations (instore, online and digital/social) in line with D&G guidelines,
. send all approved assets to each key GBB clients and make sure that the implementation is in line with D&G brand equity and guidelines,
. define and organize the delivery of POSM material to each key GBB client,
. follow up each activation preparation and implementation with local partners.
- Prepare a detailed launch report of each activation with a selection of qualitative and impactful activities including sellout results.
- Visit local stores during store activations to check the quality of execution and retail excellence.

Forecasts New Products & POSM / Masterdata / Order

- Organize weekly meetings with GBB Demand Planner, to plan and revise new products launches quantities per client & reorder quantities for both regular products, spring and Christmas sets, testers, samples and miniatures.
- Define & coordinate with local partners for each launch the right level of central POSM and send the forecast to D&G in the requested timeline.
- Inform, define and coordinate with GBB Masterdata Manager the new products information and the right allocation of new products and POSM for local teams and key GBB clients.
- Revise and coordinate with GBB teams the allocation per clients for new regular products and POSM according to supply level provided by D&G.
- Coordinate with GBB teams monthly global orders for new products and POSM.

E retail

- Coordinate the translation (German, French and Dutch) and upload the PDP texts of all new D&G products for all key GBB clients retail websites (Inno, Bijenkorf, Douglas Dach, Douglas NL, IPXL Belux and NL)
- Prepare all new products assets (key visual, packshots, videos) according to GBB clients guidelines and download them in their different platforms.
- Update regularly GBB clients retail websites according to D&G communication updates (expiring visuals, new visuals)
- Centralize pre and post launch e-retail trackers from local teams to send to D&G e-retail contact.
- Coordinate all e-retail activities / requests with the support of GBB e-retail manager.

A&P

- Define Benelux yearly A&P budget per type of expense for each GBB client and drive the investment allocations in line with Benelux specificities and D&G strategy.
- Approve invoices and follow up expenses of GBB Benelux.
- Review quarterly A&P expenses with Benelux teams.

Media / PR & Influencers / Training

- Coordinate between local GBB teams and D&G.
- Send to all local contacts communications coming from the brand.
- Centralize all trackers / D&G requests and coordinate with local teams.

GBB teams coaching

- Work in close collaboration on daily basis with local GBB teams in each market to boost their trade marketing competences (to ensure right strategy and execution of the trade marketing strategy in harmony with the local partners), coop negotiation skills, KA approach, best in class retail excellence and sellout drivers.
- Manage the Marketing Manager and KAM based in the NL.
- Coach and manage a Trade Marketing Assistant (Intern) in the HQ.

- You have a significant experience in a similar position in the beauty industry.

- You are dynamic, passionate about beauty and looking for an exciting challenge in an entrepreneurial environment within a fast-growing young beauty group.

- You are analytical and at ease with numbers.

- You are fluent in English.
