Reporting to the Cluster Business Franchise Lead, Oncology. This role be based at the Neuilly-Sur-Seine office on a hybrid basis, in Paris, France.

Ensuring strong sales performance by representing the country''s voice in regional marketing activities, localising brand strategy, plans and tactical materials, adhering to the tactical plan and promoting the proper use of our products. Place greater emphasis on digital engagement, with the objective of maximising sales and profit potential for each product.

  • Reports to the Oncology Cluster Business Franchise Lead.
  • Lead the brand plan process to ensure an effective regional branding strategy to ensure that it meets the needs of the local market.
  • Produce and monitor the implementation of strategic branding and marketing plans in line with regional strategies, ensuring that objectives are met within approved timeframes and budgets.
  • In collaboration with colleagues in Sales Excellence, develop aligned cross-functional launch plans for new products, new indications, line extensions and formulations.
  • Collaborate with local medical affairs and GDRs to obtain field information, integrate it into the localisation strategy and provide market information to regional authorities.
  • Develop and coordinate the execution of local tactical plans, including budgeting and liaison with agencies where appropriate.
  • Give input for the sales forecasts for each individual franchise product.
  • Continuously collect information on the performance of each product, competitors, and customer attitudes, proposing appropriate actions as the market environment for a product changes.
  • In collaboration with the Sales, Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Affairs, Procurement, Compliance and Legal departments, identify, launch, and monitor projects concerning products and disease areas.
  • Translate and adapt centrally developed key messages and promotional material for digital and face-to-face channels, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the material and its compliance with local regulations in collaboration with local regulatory affairs.
  • Manage the materials made available to the KAMs (positive list, allocations, stock management at the service provider, management of obsolete documents and destruction).
  • Lead the selection, management, and training of agencies, providing specific business information on therapeutic areas/products, as required, for training courses and agency briefs.
  • Assist in the planning, attendance, and support of local and international symposia.
  • Engage with key clients through regular contacts in the field, with particular emphasis on relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Be fully conversant with all available commercial databases and market research tools.
  • Guarantee total responsibility for the correct and efficient management of all budgets associated with your product(s).
  • Manage the co-promotion or co-marketing of products, where appropriate.

  • Degree in life sciences, digital or marketing recommended.
  • Experience in marketing and brand management in a pharmaceutical context required, preferably for rare diseases.
  • Professional experience in a digital/omni-channel marketing environment recommended.
  • Required knowledge of local market dynamics, customer/patient requirements and needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Strong and proven project management skills and experience in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent local language skills and perfect command of English.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems.
