The Role
As the EMEA regional Solution Advisor you will provide subject matter expertise for the SAP Supply Chain planning business processes and solutions area domain. In the role you will lead the Demand Generation focus for this solution area across EMEA and the associated development of new pipeline. As the subject matter expert, you will be expected to provide guidance and direction to the sales teams that drive their customer engagements and pipeline build activities. You will build strong relationships with Solution Marketing & Engineering to stay ahead of all new release information. You will support customer engagements in the field in alignment with the Market Unit sales leadership.
Role Objectives
Your primary objective is to create and execute strategies that drive awareness and interest in SAP supply chain management solutions. Your efforts should result in a steady stream of high-quality leads that can be converted into a solid pipeline and finally into customers. You will be in touch with all sales functions (Sales Managers, LOB Sales, Marketing and Partners Managers) to align on business development strategies and you will be accountable of pipeline creation and evolution. Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint to maximize value for their organization.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to develop comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with SAP supply chain management overall business goals. This involves:
Identifying target audiences and buyer personas to focus on with a solid data driven approach
Creating multichannel demand generation plans that incorporate various tactics, such as digital campaigns, social media and physical events
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing product, customer success and partners/alliances to ensure a unified approach
Provide deep solution-specific expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers
What you bring:
Professional experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment
SC Planning Solutions knowledge (SAP Integrated Business Planning or equivalent solution knowledge)
SAP product experience (or equivalent) and/or 3-5 years of relevant solutions/Lines of Business experience
Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and Software as a Service/Platform as a Service models in the Business-to-Business Environment
Viewed as a solutions/Lines of Business/Industry expert across SAP with a track record of success
Focus on creating compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions
Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions
Passion and energy in all customer interactions
Sales and/or Consulting background
Entrepreneurial mindset, proactivity and strong communication skills
Being responsible for developing demand & pipeline generation initiatives you'll need a unique blend of technical, creative, and analytical skills to succeed. Here are the essential qualifications and skills required for this role:
