**_Job Title: CONNECT Platform Account Manager_**
**_Reports To: Director, CONNECT Platform_**
**_About the Role_**
_The CONNECT Platform Manager is a foundational commercial role driving growth of AVEVAu2019s most strategic growth initiative: the CONNECT platform. As an early member of the CONNECT commercial team, youu2019ll be accountable for developing and executing a sales and adoption strategy that drives customer value and delivers ARR outcomes._
_You will blend enterprise Account Executive skillsu2014prospecting, opportunity shaping, closingu2014with Customer Success capabilities like onboarding support, stakeholder enablement, and usage expansion. This role is designed for an enterprise consultative SaaS/Cloud seller who can also build deep relationships, drive platform usage, and inform our go-to-market playbooks._
_This role reports to the Director of CONNECT Platform Commercial Strategy._
**_Key Responsibilities_**
**_Enterprise Selling & Commercial Execution_**
_Own commercial outcomesu2014including pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and ARR achievementu2014for a portfolio of target accounts_
_Identify and qualify use-case-driven opportunities for CONNECT platform products, using a consultative, MEDDPICC-informed sales process_
_Engage technical and business stakeholders (often VP+ and cross-functional) to build strong buying coalitions_
_Drive and close new SaaS/Cloud platform deals, with a focus on land-and-expand strategies_
_Negotiate commercial terms in alignment with value delivered, usage patterns, and strategic fit_
**_Platform Adoption & Value Realization_**
_Support onboarding and deployment strategies to accelerate time-to-value_
_Develop success plans in partnership with customers and internal teams_
_Monitor usage trends, identify adoption gaps, and proactively address risk_
_Influence post-sale expansion by championing new use cases and capabilities_
_Serve as a customer advocate internally to shape roadmap, pricing, and support_
**_Strategic Feedback & GTM Iteration_**
_Capture and share customer insights to improve CONNECT product-market fit and GTM messaging_
_Inform commercial model, onboarding approaches, and playbooks for future scale_
_Collaborate closely with product, marketing, customer success, partnerships, sales enablement, and regional sales teams_
**_About You_**
_Youu2019re an enterprise SaaS seller with a strategic mindset and customer-first approach. You can build trust with executives, guide complex sales motions, and influence product-market fit through what you learn in the field. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you're empowered to help shape the future._
**_Required Skills & Experience_**
_5+ years in enterprise B2B SaaS or Cloud software roles (e.g., Account Executive, Customer Success Manager, Solution Consultant)_
_Proven track record owning and delivering against ARR targets and closing complex deals_
_Strong sales acumen, including territory planning, value-based selling, stakeholder mapping, and negotiation_
_Experience working with (or selling into) asset-intensive industries like energy, chemicals, or manufacturing is a plus_
_Comfort engaging both technical users and business decision-makers_
_Experience driving product adoption and account growth post-sale_
_Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message_
_Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales/customer success tools_
_A self-starter who can operate autonomously and influence cross-functional teams_
