**Role Summary**
The Senior Director of Growth leads strategic growth across global PMC businesses, driving both organic and inorganic growth initiatives. This role partners with Product Line leaders and cross-functional teams to:
Identify new markets and business opportunities
Shape and operationalize go-to-market and investment strategies
Build and own a robust & actionable M&A pipeline for PMC
Ensure disciplined capital deployment and business case development
The ideal candidate brings deep rail industry knowledge, strong financial acumen, and a low-ego, high-influence leadership style.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Growth Initiatives**
Define and refine mid- and long-term growth strategies u2013 including market entry, partnerships, portfolio expansion- in close partnership with PL leaders
Operationalize strategy into execution plans u2013 in close partnership with Product Line and functional leaders
Drive disciplined capital allocation decisions through:
Financial modeling
RoI and risk/opportunity analysis
Prioritization of internal investment projects
Partner cross-functionally (Engineering, Product, Commercial) to align operational capabilities with growth targets
**2. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)**
Support corporate M&A efforts by:
Developing a robust and actionable deal pipeline
Identifying strategic action fields for inorganic growth
Craft compelling strategic rationale and business cases for potential acquisitions
**3. Strategic Enablement & Cross-functional Influence**
Serve as a trusted advisor to the PMC President and senior leadership team to actively shape PMC portfolio strategy
Influence investment, operational, and commercial decisions through:
Data-driven and operational insights
Market intelligence
Financial clarity
Ensure a disciplined approach to value creationu2014knowing when to double down and when to walk away
Confidently challenge assumptions while remaining open to diverse perspectives
**Qualifications**
15+ years of experience in rail or a comparable industrial sector
Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role, with global scope
Deep knowledge of the rail industry, preferably rolling stock
Experience managing cash and capacity in rail or in an equivalent operationally intensive environment
Strong track record in M&A: from deal origination through to integration
Financially fluentu2014comfortable with business cases, capital deployment, RoI modeling
Proven success in working across diverse, global stakeholder environments
Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership capabilities
